Attic Windows = Custom

 

The neighbors thought poor Joan was a crazy lady who forgot to close her attic windows. Contrary to common conclusions, while she may have been crazy (more likely just drunk), the constantly open windows were not her fault. We too had the same issue and after closer investigation we found that they haven't been touched in their 120 year old lives, the sashes were rotted away and the hardware needed a major overhaul.

After having four window-guys come out, we realized we're left with two options install the cheaper vinyl windows but they wouldn't be able to be opened (just picture windows) or the costly and timely alternative of custom wood windows which only two companies were able to manufacture.
