The television show has been gone over a month now and it's time for us to turn the space they delivered as part of the show part of our home. What does this mean? Well to start, all those knickknacks you saw in the photos were purely for staging the final shot and purchased at Ikea or Target and were returned afterwards. The two upholstered brown chairs in the library and bedding in the bedroom were also returned.
So how are we making it ours?
Library/Game Room
First, I went into library and added all our books from all over the house and alphabetized (with room to grow). Yes this may seem super nerdy but I loved every second of organizational heaven.
Second, I scoured craigslist and found the perfect game table set.

Bedroom
Next, during the hurricane, Gregg and I shopped a big Macy*s sale and got the most gorgeous fun bedding set!
I can't wait to cuddle in this bed.
Bathroom
Last, after showering a few weeks in the new bathroom, I decided we had nowhere to hang towels or hide bathroom accessories. The solution? A matching towel rack and bath cabinet.
