Una cucina perfetta per uno chef!

Completion! <PHEW!!> After two and a half months of non-stop decisions, contractors and disasters galore our dreams of cooking in the perfect space have come to fruition. Here are photos of the finished product although I should have cleaned before so excuse the dust. Also, we still need to add a simple short bar stool to sit under the half circle end of the island so use your imagination.

Stay tuned for the current work in progress, our dining room. Painting has commenced (thanks to Gregg's post- midnight efforts) and we spent a good chunk of today merely prepping the trim (ceiling molding, chair rails and base boards) as they required a major scrubbing and lots of taping.

Maybe you'll be able to guess what we are doing based off these inspiration photos (or the following crazy combination of ideas may leave you confused and thinking bad interior design threw up in there) but trust it will be a whimsical traditional twist.
