Gregg found a great painter through a coworker's referral (thanks Donna!!) and now it's time to get down to business for the hallways and guest bedroom.
While I am definitely leaning towards taking a risk with the bedroom and going with a dark gray, I want the hallway to be uniform on all three floors and going with such a dark color there seems too much.
This color is our biggest challenge to date as it has to tie together the entire house and it has to coordinate with the absolutely stunning original brown Lincrusta wallpaper that comes up to half wall height.

NEW SUGGESTION
Thanks Mo for your input. She commented (and I agree) that while she's a fan of gray we needed something warmer to compliment the rich brown of the wallpaper. I think her suggestion will definitely meld well with a chocolate dining room and dark gray bedroom as well.

ReplyDeleteI am not a huge fan of all these preview programs tho; so many times I fell into the trap of picking a color that "matched" on the computer but after being put on walls it was not not at all what I imagined..
